Early in 2020, our family moved from our hometown and shifted to a new region. In the weeks before leaving, my daughter I and visited the local Esplanade, taking photos of the lovely gardens. At the Esplanade there is a large lawn suitable for outdoor concerts, and a children’s paddling pool, a lovely place for summer gatherings and family parties. There is also an old house turned into a cafe, the sort of place one might enjoy an ice cream soda on a hot day, and a hot house filled with tropical plants, a favourite place in the winter to warm up while you’re visiting the gardens.
